I have completed two 48h fasts. Make sure to supplement electrolytes (Na, K, Mg). I had my first psychotherapy session. There is nothing wrong with seeking help when youâre not feeling your best. I had an osteopathy treatment. Physical therapy done right. I started writing down the highlights of the month. I got back into meditation with the Waking Up app. I started learning frontend development with React.
Compassion in the MRI Tube
I was stuck halfway in a giant plastic-sheathed metal tube. Magnetic fields, currents and liquid helium were buzzing around in the machine and creating a threatening soundscape. Thank god, only my legs were trapped in the metal maw. Though, that was sufficient to give me the creeps. âHold your legs still, pleaseâ, I remember the radiologist saying. And my legs promptly started to cramp. Was it the magnets or my own psyche struggling with this easy request?...
